Women of Impact is a national portrait and storytelling project honoring women whose leadership, service, and love have changed their families, workplaces, and communities.

I've been selected to bring it home to Warsaw, VA and the surrounding Counties. Each honoree receives a guided portrait experience and has her story told. Selected portraits and stories become part of the 2027 Women of Impact National Publication, printed alongside extraordinary women from communities across the country.

Some stories go untold because the women living them are too busy serving everyone else.



Before you nominate

Can I nominate more than one woman?

Yes. Fill out a separate form for each woman so I can give every nomination the attention it deserves.

Does she need to live in {{custom_values.woi_city}}?

She should live in {{custom_values.woi_service_area}} so we can plan her portrait experience together in person.

Is every nominee honored?

Every nomination is read with care. Because Women of Impact is a national publication with a limited number of honorees from each community, nominations go through a thoughtful review, and not every nominee will be selected this year. Please know that every woman nominated is seen and valued, and your words about her matter.

What if she hates having her picture taken?

Most of the women I photograph tell me that before their session. I guide everything, from what to wear to how to stand, so she never has to know what she's doing. She just gets to be herself.

Can I keep it a surprise?

Absolutely. Choose the surprise option on the form and I won't contact her. We'll plan everything together on our call, including a session date for inside her box.


