The questions couples ask most often before booking. Have something else on your mind? Reach out - I love hearing from couples in the planning process.

How far in advance should we book?

Wedding dates book quickly - especially spring and fall Saturdays. I recommend reaching out at least 6 to 12 months before your wedding date to ensure availability. That said, I do occasionally have openings for closer dates, so it's always worth asking.

Do you travel for weddings outside the Northern Neck?

Yes. I serve couples throughout Virginia including Richmond, Fredericksburg, and the surrounding region. Travel fees may apply for weddings more than an hour from Warsaw, VA - we'll discuss all details during your consultation.

Do you recommend an engagement session?

Absolutely - and wholeheartedly. An engagement session gives us a chance to work together before your wedding day so you feel completely at ease in front of the camera when it matters most. The resulting images are also wonderful for save-the-dates, wedding websites, and your home.

How many images will we receive?

The number of delivered images varies based on your coverage hours and the events of your day. A full wedding day typically yields several hundred fully edited images. We'll set clear expectations in your collection details before you book.

When will we receive our wedding photos?

Your private gallery reveal is typically scheduled within a few weeks of your wedding. Final edited images and album proofs follow from there. Timelines are discussed and agreed upon before your wedding day so there are no surprises.

Do you photograph elopements?

Yes - and I love them. Elopements are intimate, intentional, and deeply personal. Whether it's just the two of you or a small circle of your most important people, I bring the same care and artistry to every elopement as I do to a full wedding day.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

Rain makes for some of the most beautiful and memorable wedding images. I come fully prepared for any weather and I've learned that the couples who embrace the unexpected moments end up with their favorite photos. We'll work with whatever the day gives us.
