You won’t believe the dreamy wedding I recently had the pleasure to capture. Picture this: a beautiful creekside setting at a charming little museum, where love really seemed to seep into the air. And oh my goodness, the couple! They were effortlessly in tune with each other, sharing sweet little glances and inside jokes that made it feel like their love story was just unfolding in front of me.
So much excitement, it was going to be an amazing day with their closest friends and family. People were reminiscing about past memories while creating new ones right there in that perfect setting. It reminded me just how powerful moments like these can be.
The museum truly added another layer of beauty. The ceremony was setup in the pavilion and was so gorgeous, just perfect for a combination indoor/outdoor wedding. The grounds were extensive, several old buildings, multiple docks on the creek, a water fountain and so much more. A literal playground for me to capture those beautiful wedding and family portraits.
Witnessing these two families merging and their love blossom, you could feel and see the emotion. Capturing those little nuances —the iridescent sheen of tears, the spark of laughter, the soft looks of love and the big smiles is something I love.
Their creekside portraits were some of my favorite! They were so full of joy for each other. Each stolen glance and shared smile told a story far beyond what was happening in front of my camera.
And the party bus, let’s not forget that! A group of their friends hired a local party bus for their ride (smart group of people!), and it made for the perfect spot for some fun wedding party photos. It’s such a blessing to be surrounded by friends. You know the ones - the friends that are our backbone, our ride or die crews, our be there for it all.
The evening was wrapped up with a delicious dinner, a bride/groom photo blitz, cake cutting, toasts, dancing, and a bubble exit. It’s truly magical to be part of their moment in time.
